Living Coral Artwork

Living Coral is Pantone’s 2019 color of the year. To commemorate the occasion, Campbell Maloney has created a series that focuses on Coral Reefs, featuring Pantone’s Living Coral color.

The initial pieces highlight the work of the Coral Reef Alliance, focusing on eleven reefs that are in Hawaiʻi, the Mesoamerican Region, Indonesia and Fiji. The design spells out the names of these eleven reefs with Campbell Maloney’s letter forms, arranging those reefs geographically from west to east: West Maui, Puako, Tela Bay, Útila, Roatán, Buleleng, Karangasem, Ra, Kubulau, Waivunia and Oneata.

Living Coral 1 and Living Coral 2, in Campbell Maloney’s coral Reef series, are available directly from Campbell Maloney as a 14″ x 14″ print for $950 framed or $850 unframed. Shipping in the contiguous United States is free. 10% of sales of these two 24″ prints will benefit the Coral Reef Alliance, a charitable, non-profit organization whose mission is to “unite communities to save coral reefs”. While Campbell is proud to support the work of the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL), he is not directly affiliated with the nonprofit or any of their programs, projects or website.

Additional prints, paintings, wood cutouts and commissions featuring Living Coral are also available from Campbell Maloney. Please contact Campbell Maloney for more information.
