Living Coral Artwork

Living Coral is Pantone’s 2019 color of the year. To commemorate the occasion, Campbell Maloney has created a series that focuses on Coral Reefs, featuring Pantone’s Living Coral color.

The initial pieces focus on eleven reefs that are in Hawaiʻi, the Mesoamerican Region, Indonesia and Fiji. The design spells out the names of these eleven reefs with Campbell Maloney’s letter forms, arranging those reefs geographically from west to east: West Maui, Puako, Tela Bay, Útila, Roatán, Buleleng, Karangasem, Ra, Kubulau, Waivunia and Oneata.
